Remember when Lil Wayne‘s tour bus was shot up,when the rapper visited Compound in Atlanta? Well, we can finally label the case closed!
Just to refresh you the incident occurred April 26th during one of Weezy’s appearances a gunman opened fire to the driver’s side of his bus.
The gunman, who was identified as Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, reportedly pled guilty and will be serving a 20 years sentence. Winfrey has also been identified as Young Thug‘s road manager. Do you see any connection?
As you can imagine there has been tons of back and forth that Birdman and Thugger are connected to the shooting. Birdman, of course, denies even knowing it happened.
Winfrey was declared guilty on 6 out of 27 charges. His sentence is a total of 20 years; 10 in prison and 10 on probation, according Cobb County District Attorney. Before accepting his plea deal,Winfrey was actually accused 30 counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm.
The news hit the internet earlier today(Saturday), and was quickly responded to by 50 Cent. We can always count on 50 to give us his two cents.
