Faith Evans and Biggie‘s 20 year old son, CJ Wallace, has put out there that he is looking to release his music sometime this year. This was first confirmed in an interview with London’s Evening Standard.

Wallace is half of the rap duo, CJ & Jahad, with his younger half-brother, Joshua Jahad Russaw. The two have been gearing up for the drop later this year.

On being the son to the infamous Notorious B.I.G. this is what CJ had to say,  “[It] ends up being fuel for me, that’s my advantage.”

We last saw CJ when he took the role of the younger version of his father in 2009’s Notorious. Since then, outside of music, he has graduated high school and went back to acting, kicking it off with the movie Kicks.

“At a young age I always knew I wanted to do music, it was inevitable…My family have always had my back, whatever I’ve wanted to do they’ve supported. They were always giving me advice on what to do and how to go about things.”
