Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub

I’ve been breaking out lately and it feels like the early 2000s. If it’s not the cruel and sweaty summer, than it’s the frigid air conditioning that is making my skin turn a 180.

Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

If you’re like me and tend to spend the summer travel around to music festivals, then you need to heed my advice. Pack a nice facial cleanser that will help unclog your pores of sweat, sunscreen, and dirt. My new go-to facial cleanser is Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub. I have long been using a nice combination of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to clean out the pores on my nose and for cleaning some acne wounds. So when I saw this the other day, while browsing the aisles of my local Walgreens, I couldn’t say no. Note: I’m a fan of drug store products. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a great product and results. The Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub comes in powder form. Apply a small amount to a wet face and the scrub activates. It will naturally dissolve so that you don’t scrub your face raw or dry. After applying, I gently patted down my face. For a product like this, I suggest using at the end of the day. This way, the product can fully cleanse your face after a long day.

So how would I rate this powder/scrub? I give it a 4/5. I love products that use everyday products that I can find in my pantry. I also love the packaging, which makes it easy for me to carry around in my bag all day long. I also give this a 4/5, because it’s not the only cleanser that I use (I use another in the morning.) If this were a be-all cleanser, it would definitely get a 5/5 rating from me.
