Okay guys, so if you’ve been MIA for all two months of 2016 now’s the time to perk up. It’s looking like Queen Bey may not be the only one making a statement this week. Kanye West has recently come out the word works to reclaim his dominance over the year of 2016.
What does that mean in regular English? Basically Yeezy is about to give us a major release, TODAY.
So today( Feb.11th) Yeezus plans to finally drop his album which is now being called TLOP, The Life of Pablo. As we all should know, the album has gone under many make overs, mostly with its name. In 2015, it was being called So Help Me God but then West had a change of heart and renamed it Swish. That name didn’t seem to make the cut (R.I.P) and later we were introduced to the track list of Waves. Assuming that the three way beef with Amber and Wiz got to him, Kanye finally settled on TLOP.
For it’s release, Yeezy plans to host a listening party at Madison Square Garden, tonight. However, he will not be taking the stage. Instead,Vanessa Beecroft will be taking the stage.
Bonus! Kanye also plans to debut Yeezy Season 3, and stream the entire event on TIDAL.
All three singles that Kanye teased us with last year (“Only One,” “FourFiveSeconds,” and “All Day”) have been scrapped from the final track list, as you can see below. But “Wolves”, which features Sia. Did make the final cut.
Some other changes include the cut of the Kendrick Lamar collab, “No More Parties in LA”,” 30 Hours” and “Nina Chop.”
Here’s the track list:
1. “Ultra Light Beams”
2. “Father Stretch My Hands, Parts 1 & 2”
3. “Freestyle 4”
7. “Fade” featuring Post Malone & Ty Dolla $ign
9. “Real Friends” featuring Ty Dolla $ign
10. “Wolves” featuring Sia & Vic Mensa
