I didn’t realize Nick Jonas could get any sexier, and then he dropped the video to his new single “Close” featuring Tove Lo. Mind you this is the first single off his upcoming album Last Year Was Complicated, which will be his third solo project.
Last Year Was Complicated is scheduled to be released June 10th. I know it’s so far away but this provocative video should hopefully hold us over until then. Here’s to wishing that the Jonas Brother drops more tidbits along the way.
Nick revealed on Twitter that “Close” is about “how I literally can’t open up and be vulnerable with someone.” The video is a great visual stimulant as it has the duo singing and unable to physically touch one another. That is until the very end, where their clothes are ripped off.
The first song you're gonna hear tomorrow night is about how I literally can't open up and be vulnerable with someone..

This past Thursday, the “Levels” singer tweeted the full track list to his album.
“When I first started making [the album], I thought I knew what it would be about. Then I had a breakup…Shit is too real sometimes … Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard.”
Last Year Was Complicated:
2. “Champagne Problems”
3. “Close” featuring Tove Lo
6. “Bacon” featuring Ty Dolla $ign
7. “Good Girls” featuring Big Sean
8. “The Difference”
9. “Don’t Make Me Choose”
10. “Under You”
On top of dropping his album, Nick will also be accompanying his friend Demi Lovato on the Future Now tour, which was announced right after Lovato gave us Confident. Another treat? Well Nick will also be starring in the movie Goat, produced by James Franco, later this year.
