Eminem has done it again, folks.
Okay so this may seem like a stretch, but its definitely worth the read.
This all started with Paul Rosenberg‘s Instagram post, promoting Yelawolf‘s Trial By Fire. Now if you look past the album, you should see, what looks like, a normal ad for a medication called Revival.
However, take a look at the backwards “E”,does it seem familiar? Well, this was enough to launch a full on investigation on Reddit. Here is what the came up with.
So the actual ad was placed by Interscope Records. Also there is a website you can check out for more clues. So Revival is a medication mean to treat “Atrox Rithimus,” which is not a real thing. If you check out the rest of the site, there’s a few Easter eggs in there hinting that this may not be a legitimate treatment: por ejemplo,”REVIVAL does not cause these side effects, but if you have them you should for sure seek medical attention, “I need a doctor.”
Now if you were brave and decided to call the number provided you’ll be greeted with the sounds of Eminem‘s and Dr.Dre‘s track “I Need A Doctor” while a voice says, “Thank you for your interest in Revival, the No. 1 slightly invasive treatment for Atrox Rithimus. You only get one shot to beat AR.”
Eminem has yet to comment. However, if this is true this may be one of the most creative marketing campaigns we’ve seen.
