St. Tropez Self Tanner

Every summer, no matter how much sunscreen I apply, I always get a nice, red burn on some unlucky part of my body. This year, I planned on heading to Las Vegas with some friends and try something new, St. Tropez Medium/Dark Gradual Tan Classic Everyday Body Lotion. Initially, I wanted to use the tanner because I had seen it all over the web and I wanted to have some color before heading to the desert. I opted for the medium/dark version after looking through reviews and weighing my options. I wanted a nice, natural color and I wanted it ASAP. I started by applying the lotion strictly to my calves. Per the instructions, I wanted to try out the color on a part of my body, which I could cover. After a day or two, I started applying the tanner all over my body in upward motions. I suggest washing your hands after each use, because I did fall victim to orange tinged fingers, which eventually washed away a few days later.

I used the product for about a week and a half and I was so happy with my results. I would like to credit this self tanner with the fact that I did not get burnt in Las Vegas and for the fact that I have yet to get burned due to the base color that it provided.

For those interested in the product, I suggest heading over to Sephora, looking over the reviews and picking a shade that works best for you.

Would I use this product again? Absolutely. I would give this product 5/5 stars because it worked for me and because I like to think that it kept me from getting sun burn.
