We all remember when actress Stacy Dash came out the wood work back in January right before Black History Month. Dash claimed that black people should either sway towards segregation or integration and if the choice is the latter than channels and award shows such as BET, The BET Awards and the Image awards, shows and channels that honor black entertainers, should be erased from TV. When asked if Black History Month should be erased as well she agreed.
This whole situation caused an up roar in the black community. While the black community bashed Dash and basically shunned her one would think that would be enough to get her to shut her mouth. Oh no, yet again Dash came out from behind the curtains and supported Donald Trump and his campaign for the 2016 Presidential Elections.
Soon enough everyone had an opinion of Stacy Dash in a matter of months just for expressing her controversial opinions. Now she feels the need to voice her opinions once more and this time it’s on the issue of transgender bathroom.
Dash sat down with ET’s Nichelle Turner and discussed topics she talks about in her memoirs, There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative, such as calling out Lady Gaga for her “liberal agenda” and Caitlyn Jenner for her use of the women’s bathroom.
“It’s tyranny by the minority. Why do I have to suffer because you can’t decide what you wanna be that day?” Dash said during the chat with Nichelle Turner, claiming that Caitlyn Jenner being trans was a choice. “It’s your body! So, it’s your decision, right? We all make choices.”
Dash then commented that the trans rights movement “infringed upon her rights too much” when confronted with the idea that people who are transgender did not choose to be transgender.
“OK, then go in the bushes. I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m not gonna put my child’s life at risk because you want to change a law,” Dash replied. “So that you can be comfortable with your beliefs — which means I have to change my beliefs and my rights? No.”
This newest set of controversial comments is already getting buzz. After the controversy surrounding Black History Month earlier this year one would think that Dash might want to think about keeping her overly conservative opinions to herself and yet they just keep spilling out of her like word vomit. Anyone else thinks she’s taking things too far?
