Uma Thurman on Sexual Harassment in the Entertainment Industry ‘When I’m Ready, I’ll Say What I Have to Say.’

The Parisian Woman, actress put reporters in their place, when asked about her opinion on Hollywood’s testimonies of sexual harassment.

Despite questions about the undeniable presence of sexual harassment in Hollywood, Uma Thurman kept her composure on the red carpet event for her Broadway debut, The Parisian Woman.

You can see Uma’s response above to: “In light of recent news—Gwenyth has spoken out, now Angelina has spoken out—you’re such a powerful woman in film. What are your thoughts about women speaking out about inappropriate behavior in the workplace?”

“I think it’s commendable. And I don’t have a tidy sound bite for you, because I’ve learned—I am not a child—and I have learned that when I’ve spoken in anger, I usually regret the way I express myself. So I’ve been waiting to feel less angry. And when I’m ready, I’ll say what I have to say.”

Incase you weren’t aware the actress has multiple links to Harvey WeinsteinPulp Fiction, A Month by the Lake,Beautiful Girls, and Kill Bill are all Mirmax productions. She was also is linked romantically to Fabrizio Lombardo, an Italian film exec who was accused of assisting Harvey and has a relationship with Quentin Tarantino, who admitted to being aware of  Weinstein’s acts.
We’re not sure when Uma will be ready to tell her story, but we’re certain it’s worth the wait.
